We’re Aaron and Aimee. Fine & Fast Finishes is our family-run painting business, based in Nambour and built around good workmanship, honest communication and respect for the homes we work in.

Aaron started Fine & Fast Finishes in 2017 with a clear idea of the kind of business he wanted to run: one that prepares properly, takes care of the details and does what it says it will.
Today, Aimee looks after enquiries, scheduling and quoting. Aaron personally manages every job and works on the tools on most of them. For projects that need extra hands, we bring in qualified painters we trust.

Aaron, Aimee & LolaAaron’s story: Sydney Harbour to the Sunshine Coast
Aaron grew up in Western Sydney and got his start in painting just after turning 16, working alongside his cousin. In 2012, he began an apprenticeship with a large strata painting company and went on to earn his Certificate III at Granville TAFE.
The work covered multi-storey residential buildings, unit blocks, housing estates and inner-city heritage homes. A highlight was working on the Sydney Harbour foreshore contract, including Pyrmont Bridge, heritage light poles, playgrounds, the Chinese Garden and bench seats around Darling Harbour.
After his apprenticeship, Aaron began working for himself. A local builder introduced him to spraying ceilings while finishing new homes, sparking an interest that became a big part of his work. Alongside a mate from TAFE, he worked on higher-end homes, invested in spray equipment and helped train an apprentice.
After our daughter Lola was born, we wanted to be closer to family on the Sunshine Coast. We moved north in 2020, first rebuilding the business in Brisbane through high-end apartment renovations, then settling in Nambour before Lola started school.
That experience shapes how we work today: thoughtful preparation, practical advice and close attention to the finish.
